Joseph is the Executive Director/CEO and holds a MBA (Strategic Management) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degrees from the University of Nairobi and currently pursuing a PhD (Business Administration) at the same University. He is a member of ICPAK, the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya and the institute of Directors Kenya. He is also a certified trainer on corporate governance. Joseph has over 26 years business management experience gained in diverse industries, 19 years of which have been in senior leadership and management positions. He has a distinguished leadership career with a proven track-record of achievements (both in the private and public sectors) in revenue growth, productivity improvement, operational excellence and bottom-line turnaround. He is respected for a strong work-ethic and irreproachable integrity.
Dr. Omondi is a holder of a Doctorate Degree (Business Administration) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, MBA (Strategic Management) from the Kenya Methodist University, Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration (Finance) from United States International University – Africa (USIU-A), and CPA. Janerose has over 20 years’ experience in banking, having previously worked with Barclays Bank of Kenya Limited. In the bank, Janerose participated in various successful corporate finance transactions. She also has experience in Compliance and Risk Management gained from the same bank
FA. Charles Ocholla holds a Master of Business Administration degree (Finance Option) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Kenyatta University. He is a practicing member of Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA). Charles is also a member of Institute of Directors (IOD-Kenya). Charles has over 20 years’ experience and has actively participated in high profile investment banking and corporate finance transactions in the Kenyan capital markets with respect to financial advisory mandates including but not limited to structured financial transactions, due diligence, right issues, bonus issues, leverage buyout, privatizations and divestiture, corporate bond transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, private placements and other advisory mandates. He has attended various courses and seminars in capital market development, credit structuring and corporate finance both locally and abroad.
CPA Virginiah is a holder of a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Management) both from United States International University – Africa (USIU-A). She is a certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and CPS finalist. She is also an active member of the Institute of certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK). She is also a Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor and holds various other certification courses including Balance Score Card, Risk Management, Ethics and Integrity, Human Resource metrics and Corporate Governance. She has over 25 years’ working experience in the public sector with a vast experience in public sector accounting, reporting and financial management, strategic management, and Government Performance Contracting.
Caroline is responsible for the management of the Human Resource and Administration functions. She is a seasoned HR practitioner with over twenty years’ experience having worked in senior positions in Administration, Human Resources and Strategy both in the private and public sectors. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA - Strategic Management) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Moi University; a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM); and an Executive Diploma in Industrial Relations from the United States International University – Africa (USIU-A). She is a Certified HR Professional by the IHRM and a Certified Conflict Mediator.
Florah is the Risk and Compliance Manager at the Commission. She was previously within the Old Mutual Group as a Risk and Compliance Specialist before moving to Standard chartered Bank as a Finance Operational Risk Manager. During this time, Florah has gained practical experience in financial management, enterprise risk management and compliance in the financial services sector with dynamic variables. She has gained exposure in designing, evaluating and implementing risk management processes through integration of controls, audit and process management capacity building. Florah holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Actuarial Science) and an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi; in addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (K).
Sylvester holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Procurement and Logistics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a CIPS post graduate professional diploma in Procurement and Supply. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Public Administration from Moi University. He is a registered and licensed member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management. Sylvester has over 20 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management having worked for various organizations in different capacities and also has vast knowledge in public procurement. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Supply Chain Management from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is working on his dissertation having finished the coursework successfully.
